New Addition for Kitchen Remodel in West Bloomfield

The picture above is from one of your West Bloomfield neighbors a little away in Southfield.

First take a moment to listen to the video from our customer to see how happy they are with their new addition and kitchen.

In the picture above, we start by showing the New Addition and the Kitchen we created.  The homeowners wanted a modern looking kosher kitchen as part of their addition remodel.  We went with white cabinets and contrasted them with dark flooring and stainless steel appliances. We then build a sink into the island to make the kitchen kosher friendly. The homeowners absolutely love how their kitchen addition turned out.

But let us walk you through some processes we needed to accomplish to make this dream come true for our customers.  We begin by excavating the land to build the foundation to for the new kitchen. An excavator is used to create a trench.

Following the above, we can now continue to have you understand the various items that help create the foundation.

Then the final touches of the addition are in place. The exterior is almost completed and now we begin the building of the kitchen itself.

Kitchen Remodeling

Kitchen Remodel Red Island Bloomfield, MI

Over the years, the kitchen has gained popularity as the central, most important room in any home. It enjoys, in most cases, round the clock patronage. Starting from a very early morning breakfast to a late-night snack, the kitchen is a loyal witness to any drama in life. Whether preparing an important meal for a client or family, surprising a loved one on a special occasion or making a special dinner for the grandchildren, the kitchen is always there.

So, when it comes to planning for a kitchen remodeling project, there are a lot of things to consider so that it will become a room where everybody will feel comfortable and welcome.

At Lincorp / Borchert, we want your remodeled kitchen to be a perfect combination of good looks and effective functionality.

The kitchen above features a pop of color with the bold red island. White shaker style cabinets are stacked to the ceiling with lighted glass for display. Long stainless cabinet pulls add a modern touch to the space.

The next picture shows a large traditional kitchen featuring two islands, one with seating and an open bookcase on the end. Cherry cabinets sit on the quartz countertops to hide small appliance. A full quartz backsplash behind the cooktop allows for easy clean up.

“Right from the beginning, we were shown a timeline of the work schedule which was adhered to as much as possible. I also appreciated the expertise and suggestions of what is available in cabinet design and function, faucet, lighting, materials for countertop and backsplash. I also appreciated the fact that my needs/wants in a kitchen were listened to and incorporated.”
Frank & Maria G

“I love my kitchen and have received numerous positive comments from family and friends.”
Jim & Kathy R

“Lincorp did our complete kitchen renovation. Ron asked our priorities, created a design, then gave us a quote which included allowances for things like countertops, faucet, cabinetry, and told us sources to shop for our choices. Throughout the job he was responsive, on schedule, and on budget. We were very pleased and have recommended Lincorp to several others.”
Len

“Where to begin: – All the tradesmen were very good at what they did. – Everyone’s willingness to listen to our concerns and opinions and insuring they were met. – Ease to contact Borchert’s or Jim Orlando and get answers very quickly.
6 months later we love the kitchen as much, if not more so, than the day it was completed. The layout has worked out exactly how we anticipated! The look and function are perfect for us. Thanks again!! :-)”
Jack & Chris D

“My kitchen and bath look beautiful and the project was completed on the day they said it would be.”
Sigrid G

“I really liked the fact that Borchert Building helped us design the kitchen and helped us pick out the materials. They went out of their way to pick materials up for us. They were able to help us pull our ideas out rather quickly.”
Mary & Steve G

“Overall, very pleased with the quality of work and professionalism with this company. Excellent communication during the design and renovating stage. Contractors used were very professional. Worked within our budget.”
Christina H

“Borchert Kitchen & Bath completely renovated our 1950’s ranch galley kitchen and solved all of our space and design issues. They performed most of the work while we were out of town and everything went smoothly. Ronda, our design consultant had great ideas and listened to our requests. The work was done within the time and budget parameters. I would recommend them without reservation.”
Debra H

“Professional and friendly staff, suggested great ideas for my kitchen remodel. Workmanship was exceptional, project started and finished as promised. Everyone who worked on my projected did a fantastic job.”
Sherry L

“I am most satisfied with how effective my kitchen is now. I was able to have a family sit down together for Thanksgiving this year but beforehand, I couldn’t do that. My kitchen is just gorgeous. I don’t mind doing work in my kitchen now. Even my relatives told me it was fun to be in the kitchen on Thanksgiving. Before it was small, but now it feels three times as big.
I love my bathroom and my kitchen. We had the tub removed and a stall put in the bathroom; my husband had knee surgery and his physical therapist said the bathroom was great for older people who are handicap. The bathroom is set up so that is useable.”
Patricia S

“Lincorp Construction completed the project in a timely, professional and expert manner. They were prompt and efficient, leaving little to no lapses between phases of the project. Ron Jedwab was a pleasure to work with- he brought in an excellent kitchen designer and the two of them really listened to my wishes and needs for my kitchen and incorporated them into the design. When minor mishaps occurred, such as a leaky pipe which warped the wood, Ron immediately apologized, fixed the problem and replaced the damaged piece. Any changes to the original plan were discussed and then finalized in writing so there were no surprises.
Some of the actual contractors were easier to work with than others, but all did their job professionally. I am thrilled with my new kitchen and incredulous that it was completed in the time and budget frame that we initially agreed upon.”
Sara

“After hearing dozens of horror stories about the remodeling process, dreaded the thought of re-doing my kitchen. But, as it was over thirty years old and no longer functional, couldn’t put it off any longer. I visited several kitchen remodeling businesses and talked to three Contractors before choosing Lincorp to do the job.
I was more than pleased with every aspect of the project. Ron Yedwab worked with me, making me a part of the project and kept me involved from step one through to completion. He took the time to understand and help me define exactly what I needed and then worked with me to fit those things into my budget. He coordinated the project from beginning to end. Electricians, plumbers, flooring, tile and cabinet installers completed their projects directly according to the projected schedules. The portions of the house that were not involved, were completely protected from al/ the construction work so that life could continue in a fairly normal manner. The end product was exactly what wanted and I am thrilled.”

Your bathroom is the place where you start and end your day. You’ll want a space that is stylish and efficient, but also feels comfortable and luxurious. At Lincorp/Borchert, we hard work to find what is best for your personal space. This might mean a simple pull and replace or we can reconfigure floor plans, move walls, fixtures, and utilities to increase floor area and storage space.

“We hired Lincorp construction to remodel our master bath. We hired them based on the reviews we read and were very pleased with the results. We were given a time table of when each aspect of the job would take place and if it was delayed we knew well in advance of the delay and a new date was given immediately. If any problems or concerns arose, Ron handled each and every one in a timely matter. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the ultimate results. Thank you Lincorp!”
Chuck & Elaine

“I hired Borchert Kitchen & Bath for a bathroom remodel. The job included complete demolition of the existing bathroom and replacing it with a new, more modern look. The design team listened to me and incorporated everything I asked into the design and the production team did a great job with the construction. You can tell they pride in their work by the quality behind the job.”
Rachel C

“Complete remodel of Master Bathroom. Design, demolition, plumbing, electrical, tile, complete so far. Installation of tub and finish work to be completed this week. Great team to work with, good communication and execution of the project.”
Michael & Linda C

“I hired Lincorp to gut / renovate two bathrooms. I chose them because, 1) a high degree of professionalism present throughout the sales process (no pressure, but a clear expression of interest), 2) a very clear scope of work, which I felt a great deal of confidence would be completed with a quality job as the result, and 3) this is a 2nd generation family-owned business which seemed to care quite a bit about its reputation. The work was excellent in quality and was completed according to the schedule provided. Additionally, when I thought that I had a problem (which turned out to be totally unrelated), Ron visited the day after I called him and provided some advice as to what needed to be done.”
Peters

“All phases of this bathroom project were implemented with a friendly and professional manner. The design, selection of product, ordering of material, delivery, and installation followed your project plan layout. The scheduling of your highly skilled subcontractors was on target!”
Jerry & Marcy C

“We had a bathroom rehab done by Lincorp. The job was done on time and within the contract budget. The quality of the workmen was excellent as was the work product. The only hiccup on the project was that the edging on the countertop was not as we expected. Mr. Jedwab stood behind the work and made sure we got the edging we expected. It’s exactly what you want in a contractor.”
Ron N

“I am most satisfied with the final outcome. I am pleased with the appearance of the project.”
Ken & Kathy B

“They completed everything I asked for. It was a turn key operation, I went out of town and I came back and everything was all done. It was awesome!”

Additions

Addition Kitchen Remodel Dark Wood Floors Washington, MI

Whether you need a little extra space or a major expansion, Lincorp/Borchert will create a solution for your needs. Adding an addition onto your home can be the solution you need to expand the livability of your space. Weather you need to enlarge your kitchen or dining room, create a spacious master bedroom and bathroom suite, or just need more space for a family room, we can handle the project for you. We have added space to existing homes not only by expanding outwards, but also by expanding upward.

This first picture shows a kitchen addition we added to the house. The original kitchen was too small, cramped and just didn’t function well for the family. By adding about 9 feet onto the back of the home the kitchen at least doubled in size and they were able to get the large island they always wanted.

The next two pictures show a second story master suite that was added on to give the owners their own space away from the kids. The bedroom, closet, and master bath were all newly added square footage.

Next is another kitchen addition that again was added on to the back of the house.

“I chose Lincorp for our addition primarily because Of one simple reason – I wanted a company that would stick to the contract, in terms of the price, the work specified, and the timeframe. My main concerns were cost overruns and time overruns. First, I can attest to the fact that the basic job was not only completed on time but was actually completed a couple weeks early. Second, Lincorp did stick to the exact contract price, to the penny, and did not pass along to me any’ additional costs due to under-budgeted items.

I would also like to highlight three beneficial aspects of working with Lincorp. First, your creative design work made it possible for us to add sufficient space when we thought the square footage would be short, and other people we spoke to did not make that suggestion. Second, your subcontracted workers tended to be clean, respectful, and courteous to our family. Third, anytime we called you, you would do your best to make yourself available on short notice and to pay full to What we had to say, and not make us feel as if we were imposing on you – that comfort level was a big plus.

I’d have to venture to guess that just about every significant building project has its unexpected turns of events and unforeseen issues that arise. I think the measure of a builder is not whether these unavoidable contingencies occur, but instead whether the builder is professional and reasonable responding to them, whether the builder will take responsibility for the work of his subcontractors rather than “passing the buck “, and whether the builder will keep customer satisfaction as a top priority. In all of these areas, I can say that Ron Jedwab and Lincorp measure up well, and we’re glad we chose them.”
Michael

“We put an additional room upstairs on the second story of our home. It involved extending and enlarging an existing bedroom and adding on a new room with a higher ceiling. We are planning to use this as an exercise room. We found that Ron was extremely professional. He told us the planned schedule and he was right on time in following that daily schedule and the overall timeline for the project. He kept within budget and he promptly took care of anything that came up. He answered all our questions and concerns. We would highly recommend Ron and Lincorp.”
Robert M

“Lincorp install an addition over the majority of our home. The work was done on a timely basis and at the cost I expected. This is my second project with this firm.”
Jonathan & Liba P

“I loved working with Lincorp Construction! Their attention to detail was incredible – including the detail of what my budget was! They asked and then listened to my lifestyle and how my family runs and created a space that truly works for us!”
